BLACK BELT SUMMER CAMP
WTSDA Region 4 Black Belt Summer Camp is not just an event — it’s a celebration of spirit, discipline, and unity. As one of the premier gatherings of the year, it brings together Masters, instructors, black belts, and cho dan bos from across Region 4 for a transformative weekend of growth and camaraderie.
Held each summer in June or July, this camp ignites our passion for Tang Soo Do with every moment. Training begins Friday evening with introductions, orientation, and judging training — setting the stage for a weekend of purpose and precision.
Each day begins before the sun with ki gong and warm-ups, awakening both body and mind. From there, participants dive into dynamic sessions covering basics, hyungs (forms), one-steps, self-defense, weapons, and specialized techniques — all designed to sharpen skills and deepen understanding.
Evenings come alive with powerful lectures and meaningful presentations that inspire, challenge, and connect us. And as the day winds down, we gather not just as martial artists, but as a family — sharing stories, laughter, and the bonds that make our Tang Soo Do journey unforgettable.
This is more than a camp — it’s a rite of passage, a renewal of our martial spirit, and a reminder that together, we are stronger.
