Dear Region 4 Black Belts and Cho Dan Bos,

Sr. Int’l Master Patrick West, WTSDA Region 4 Director, is proud to announce the return of the WTSDA Region 4 Black Belt Summer Camp—and this year, we’re especially excited to be coming home.

For the first time since 2019, we will once again gather at beautiful Trinity University in San Antonio, a venue that has been the backdrop for so many unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and incredible training experiences. We couldn’t be more excited to return to this outstanding campus and continue the tradition that has meant so much to our Region 4 family.

Black Belt Camp has always been far more than a weekend of training. It is an opportunity to live, train, sweat, eat, and grow together as we continue our journey on the Martial Arts Way. It is a time to reconnect with old friends, welcome new faces, strengthen our bonds, and renew our commitment to the art and spirit of Tang Soo Do.

Our weekend begins Friday evening with introductions, orientation, and judging training, setting the stage for an inspiring and challenging experience. Each morning starts with ki gong and warm-ups, followed by full days of focused instruction in basics, hyungs (forms), one-steps, self-defense, weapons, and specialized training sessions led by some of the most respected Masters and instructors in our region.

Evenings provide opportunities for engaging lectures, meaningful discussions, and time to relax and enjoy the fellowship of our Tang Soo Do family. These moments together often become the memories we cherish long after the weekend has ended.

Returning to Trinity University brings a renewed sense of excitement and tradition. Its beautiful campus, outstanding facilities, and familiar atmosphere provide the perfect setting for another unforgettable Black Belt Camp. Whether this is your first time attending or you’re returning to a place filled with memories, we know this year’s camp will be one to remember.

We look forward to seeing each of you as we train together, challenge one another, and continue building the strong traditions of Region 4. Let’s make our return to Trinity University a celebration of our past, our present, and the bright future of our Region 4 family.
